Uses

Stain-Proof provides lasting protection against water, salt and staining damage for tile, stone and grout including; engineering concrete, terracotta tile, cast stone, paving, sandstone, limestone, brick and grout. It is a penetrating, invisible and breathable sealer.

Application rates

Total application rate is approximately 1 litre per 2 to 8 square metres, depending on porosity.

 

 

How to use

1. ALWAYS TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL AREA FIRST. Allow a 24-hour cure time. Check that the sealer does not discolor the surface. 2. Remove and repair all loose or missing grout. 3. Ensure surfaces to be treated are dry, clean and free of residues. 4. Apply when the surface temperature is below 35°C. Generously saturate the surface with product using low-pressure hand spray, a clean brush, or similar. Avoid contact with surrounding areas. 5. After 10 minutes, repeat over entire area. Total application rate is approximately 1 litre per 2 to 8 square metres, depending on porosity. 6. Allow 10 minutes for product to soak in then buff surfaces with a clean white dry cloth to remove excess product. Clean brush in mineral turps. 7. Let the product dry for a minimum of 12 hours before using the surface. 8. Sealer will not prevent surface etching or wear. Clean-up stains immediately to minimize absorption.
